Workshop Row

Snow fell like ice balls on the rooftop.

Of Father Weisberg’s toy workshop.

Inside toy makers could not believe.

This night had arrived it was Christmas Eve.

All the elves from Workshop Row.

Packed up the sleigh ready for Santa to go.

Santa winked at Rudolf and his nose flashed red.

‘All the children should now be in bed.’

In a silver flash the sleigh was gone.

Seven reindeers soon became none.

‘Christmas Eve and my work is complete.’ 

Father Weisberg headed home in the sleet.
